What can I expect at the first consultation?
At the first consultation the doctor will perform a relevant medical examination and assessment to identify the cause of your weight gain. You may require blood tests that will be either performed at St Joseph’s Hospital / Cyncoed Consulting Rooms or at your GP surgery. Specific lifestyle advice will be discussed with you to get you started.
Recommendations for your individual treatment plan will be discussed with you. In addition, you will have the opportunity to discuss the optional weight management treatment plan available within the clinic.
